The Importance Of Keeping Bees Under Control...
In southern Arizona, most bees are of the “Africanized” variety, known for their aggressive behavior and potential danger to humans, pets, and livestock. These bees are highly defensive of their hives, and encounters can result in numerous painful stings. If you notice a beehive or swarm at your property in the Phoenix area, don’t hesitate and contact us immediately. We can remove bees located in common places such as garages, porches, pavilions, awnings, pergolas, and trees.
Don’t take any chances with aggressive bees. We offer free consultations, inspections, and quotes so you can make an informed decision about whether or not you require bee removal and treatment.

Bee FAQ
What is the most dangerous bee in Arizona?
The “Africanized” Honey Bee is by far the most aggressive and problematic bee in Arizona. They respond rapidly to disturbance and are extremely defensive around nests. If you feel you have aggressive bees at your property, call us immediately at (623) 594-4360.
How can I tell whether a bee is "Africanized"?
Africanized Bees are hard to identify visually. The biggest clues are related to their behavior. Signs include aggressively defending a hive, appearing in large numbers, chasing intruders for longer distances, and reacting strongly to noise and vibrations.
Are bees dangerous to pets?
Yes. Dogs are especially vulnerable because they investigate hives with their noses. Bees can sting the nose or throat repeatedly, which can be deadly if swelling blocks breathing.
Are all bee types in Arizona dangerous?
No. Many bee species are low-risk and beneficial to the environment. These include traditional Honey Bees, Cactus Bees, and Mason Bees, which are excellent pollinators.
